What is the service life like? Does the use of titanium alloy provide better corrosion resistance? (Note: The working environment mentioned above is: temperature 50℃ ； The cathode and anode wires are located in a humid mist with a pH value of 3–5, and this mist contains sodium sulfite at a concentration of 10%
It should be fine; it’s corrosion-resistant, but not heat-resistant, right?
Currently, many use fiberglass anode tubes; there’s no need for 2205! How expensive is it!
With fiberglass anode tubes, the main concern is hot flue gas entering in case of a failure!
The anode tube is made of fiberglass or PVC; isn’t the cathode wire made of lead?
There must be many configuration options, right?
For your operating conditions, it is best to use a titanium cathode wire, as this provides the best corrosion resistance.
Question: If a titanium cathode wire is to be used, what is the specific grade of titanium? Is it industrial Ti2?
