The available amount of livestock and poultry manure is 840 million tons, with an utilization rate of 35.7%； The amount of organic waste that can be utilized in urban areas is 75 million tons, with an utilization rate of 37.3% ； The available amount of crop straws is 340 million tons, with an utilization rate of 2.4% ； The available amount of forestry wood residues is 350 million tons, with an utilization rate of 0.9% ； The available amount of resources from agricultural product processing residues is 60 million tons, with an utilization rate of 3.34% ； Furthermore, the utilization rates of organic wastewater and waste residues are only 0.6% and 5.1%, respectively.
Is it that promising? Is biogas power generation just in its infancy?
It’s very promising, but it’s not at the initial stage – biogas power generation has been around for a long time. I think the process of purifying biogas to produce CNG is still in its early stages
