A newcomer learning PLC: what is the difference between WinCC and Step7?

I can’t install WinCC 7.3 no matter what; is there a specific order in which these two installations need to be carried out? It was difficult to get it down, and then it wouldn’t go back up.

Can’t WinCC be installed without Step7?
Both can be installed separately; if installing them on the same computer, it’s best to install Step 7 first and then WinCC
To work with PLCs, programming software is essential; without it, nothing else can function. However, the case is different for human-machine interface software – depending on the process requirements, a touch screen or a PC can be used to monitor the operation of the process. For PCs, either Siemens’ own WINCC or other human-machine interface software such as KingView or iFIX can be used, as long as the necessary driver interfaces are available
One is for the upper-level machine, and the other is for the lower-level machine
This is not a problem related to the master station and slave stations; it all relates to the master station program. One aspect of it is programming the slave station, and the other is creating diagrams for it.
