Does every one of them also need to be pressure-tested? Like the overflow pipe, is a drain pipe also needed?
For overflow pipes and drain pipes, it is necessary to consider the areas they pass through; if there is a risk of leakage that could contaminate those areas, a leak test must be conducted. One end can be sealed, and water can be poured in to check for leaks.
I’ve never seen a standard; usually, one checks the specification sheet.
I don’t know. I think it is a leak test, not a pressure test.
There are no design pressure requirements, so testing for pressure is likely not necessary. Generally, there are no design pressure requirements for things like overflow pipes and drain pipes. It’s just a rough idea; I’m waiting for professionals to provide an answer.
What are the design pressure and temperature? What medium?
