Is it considered a normal operating condition when the CO burner or CO boiler in an MTO unit is not in use? When the CO incinerator or CO boiler is not in operation, the exhaust gases contain 8–16% vCO. Although CO is not considered a pollutant under emission standards, from an occupational health perspective, it can have a direct impact on human health. Additionally, when the CO incinerator or CO boiler is not in operation, can it be specified in the manual that the owner should cut off the feed and stop the coking process?
Are there any standards for limiting CO emissions in flue gas? I only found one (DB13/487-2002 Standards for Carbon Monoxide Emissions from Fixed Pollution Sources (Local Standard of Hebei Province)). Are there any other standards?
