“One regrets not having read enough books when the need arises. ”That’s just the way I am; I like to cram at the last minute. Since childhood, I’ve been a bit clever; whether it was taking exams at school or doing other things, I never really liked to prepare in advance. With graduation approaching soon, everyone is busy making various choices, and I’m anxious myself as well. My family wants me to take the exam to become a civil servant, but I really don’t like the bureaucratic world; I’m used to being free and unrestrained. Entering such a framework would be like cutting off my wings, wouldn’t it? That’s why I plan to study abroad. My mom has always spoiled me; she thought it was fine for me to study more, so she supported my decision. It was supposed to be a good thing, but trouble arose again – my IELTS score wasn’t good enough. I want to improve my IELTS score in the short term; I was wondering if any experienced netizens could help me with this. I heard that Global IELTS Training is pretty good, but a friend advised me not to go there, saying that her English skills didn’t improve much after she attended their training courses. I’m a bit puzzled; maybe she can’t improve. I know her personality – she’s not a patient person. Perhaps if I went there, things would be different.
