A question about safety regarding automated instruments

Our company currently has storage tanks for aniline, toluene, carbon disulfide, cyclohexylamine, sulfuric acid, and liquid caustic. I would like to install level gauges in these tanks; which of them require dual level gauges?

Normally, there is one set of remote-level gauge and one set of local-level gauge; for critical applications, two sets of remote analog level gauges can be used, or one set of analog remote gauge along with a level switch. It is mainly for comparison, in order to determine the accuracy of the liquid level. As for how many sensors should be installed, sometimes one local sensor is used, sometimes one remote sensor, and sometimes three remote sensors. In my opinion, it depends on what the person making the decision thinks, haha
