How do towers prevent bending
In addition to considering the wall thickness and diameter of the tower, as well as the welding process, plate towers can be reinforced both on the inside and outside, while packed towers are more complicated and can only be reinforced from the outside
The main external force acting on towers is wind, and taller towers need to be equipped with airfoil fins.
The whole tower is okay! All our original towers were designed by a consultant, and all of them used flange connections. For a 1.5-meter tower, it’s very difficult to keep it from bending~~
First of all, I don’t understand this issue, so I’m just guessing here; I ask those reading this to criticize my views. In my understanding, when joining the towers together, one should avoid using ring welds, or rather use a welding method similar to that used for spiral pipes in order to increase strength. Also, as mentioned above, flange connections cannot be used.
