How to calculate sulfur yield
Sulfur has a one-way conversion rate and a total sulfur yield.
Due to the inaccurate measurement of the acid gas flow rate, as well as the inaccuracies in the hydrogen sulfide content of the acid gas and the hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide contents in the exhaust gases, it is actually very difficult to calculate the one-way conversion rate. Total sulfur yield – the most reliable calculation method = sulfur production / (sulfur production + sulfur dioxide emissions from chimneys / 2)
