As the title suggests: Is it necessary to use an opening reinforcement ring for pressure vessel equipment?
Not necessarily, right? Section 6.1.3 of Part 3 of GB150-2010 specifies that no additional reinforcement is required; meeting all its requirements means that no extra reinforcement is necessary. Moreover, reinforcement does not necessarily have to be achieved using reinforcement rings; other methods can also be employed

The standards for 150-type containers, 47003-type atmospheric-pressure containers, 50341-type storage tanks, etc., all contain clear regulations; please refer to them. More or less like this: if the strength is insufficient, it needs to be reinforced. The reinforcement methods include reinforcement rings, thick-walled connectors, and integral reinforcement, etc. For 50341 storage tanks, reinforcement is required when the DN is greater than 50.
After calculation, if the strength is sufficient, no reinforcement is needed; reinforcement is only required if the strength is insufficient
