Differences between HTRI and Aspen

Both HTRI and Aspen can calculate heat exchangers, but is the difference between them simply because HTRI is more specialized? I hope the experts here can share their opinions~~~
Aspen’s built-in heat exchanger calculator is sufficient for calculating heat transfer, but it is far from adequate for analyzing the structure of heat exchangers. HTRI is more specialized for this purpose; Aspen’s EDR is similar to HTRI in that it is also designed for professional heat transfer calculations
We learned Aspen on our own before training at HTRI
Importing into HTRI from Aspen is a bit troublesome; manual intervention or third-party plugins are required, while importing into HTRI from PROII is straightforward
HTRI is used only for calculating heat exchangers, while Aspen focuses on process simulation and has a broader range of applications. Of course, if your input conditions are clear and the type of heat exchanger has been determined, it’s more convenient to use HTRI.
