Production of liquid carbon dioxide

Carbon dioxide is produced industrially; currently, the purity of the feed gas is 98.3%, the temperature of the condenser is minus 20 degrees, and the system pressure is higher than normal, at 2.4 megapascals. The amount of gas released as off-gas is also greater than before, resulting in high consumption. I need help understanding what causes this and how to fix it
We also produce liquid CO2 here, and this kind of situation has never occurred
This problem occurred here; I don’t know why. I asked many people but couldn’t figure out the reason. They said that the purity of the feed gas had decreased, but it only dropped from 99.5% to 98.2% – it shouldn’t have such a significant impact
