Liquefied gas is transported in liquid form; are there any examples of pipeline transportation over long distances (about 20 kilometers)? At the same time, is it necessary to return the gas phase as well? If no gas-phase return line is provided, what are some reasonable measures for making use of it? Just pull out the bottom of the tank and pump it; I don’t understand what happens with the gas phase – where does that gas phase come from? We have a propane pipeline here that is about 5 km long, leading to the ethylene plant; it involves pumping, and insulation for the pipeline is sufficient. Check valves and safety valves are installed before it connects to the main pipe of the receiving unit. As for the 20KM version, I really haven’t seen it. By the way, long-distance pipelines need to be inspected daily.
