How is the support framework for large horizontal air coolers designed? I don’t understand!
The upper structural steel frame serves as a support for the tube bundles and main steam pipes; it is usually in a herringbone shape, or in smaller systems it has a flat top.
The lower steel structure is truss-type, similar to a bridge. If you lack experience, do not design such structures, as the risks are high; in the event of a collapse, it could lead to accidents similar to those that occur with bridges. . . . .
Additionally, there is the steel structure of the motor beam, which is subject to dynamic loads; attention must be paid to its mass.
