In a certain facility, the media used in the production workshop are all non-flammable; however, there is one type of refrigerant used in the utility systems, which consists of 20% ethanol, 40% ethylene glycol, and 40% water, with a normal operating temperature of 0°C. How should the explosion protection rating for this workshop be determined?

In accordance with the relevant provisions of Article 3.1 General Provisions in the \"GB 50058-2014 Code for Design of Electrical Installations in Explosive Hazardous Environments\", as well as your specific operating conditions, I believe that this area can be considered a non-explosive hazardous area. However, preventive measures should be taken: combustible gas detectors can be installed at locations where the ethanol mixture might leak (i.e., at the sources of leakage), and exhaust fans should be set up according to the size of the room as specified in 3.2.4 4).
