In the process of transformation and upgrading of the biogas industry, developing large- and medium-scale projects tailored to local conditions is gradually becoming the trend for the future. Against the backdrop of ongoing challenges such as the large-scale transportation of raw materials and the consumption of products, the development of biogas should adopt the concept of a distributed energy network. With a focus on the long-term development of the industry, companies are turning their attention to the comprehensive development and utilization of the biogas industry chain, adopting the concept of integrated production. In developing biogas projects, Air Liquide has focused on deepening its involvement in the relevant industrial chain; for example, by leveraging biogas purification, it expands this chain through areas such as gas integration into the grid, use in vehicles, production of liquefied biomethane, and renewable hydrogen. Currently, the relevant industry departments are actively engaging in discussions, hoping to establish a subsidy policy for end products of biogas projects. On the one hand, appropriate subsidies are provided through gas pricing; such subsidies enable production and operating enterprises to recoup their costs and maintain profitability, while at the same time truly reducing the cost for users to use biogas, thereby fostering the end-market. On the other hand, end products including biogas slurry and biogas liquid should also be made more effective through subsidy policies.
