Do RTO units of a certain capacity generally require an induced draft fan?

This post was last edited by slll611 on 2016-5-15 00:07. Does an RTO unit with a ventilation capacity of 10,000 cubic feet generally require an exhaust fan? Why do I see that some RTO units with a capacity of 25,000 cubic feet don’t have such fans either, relying instead on the suction force from the chimney to draw air out.
It should be possible to pull itself out by means of the suction force from the chimney; presumably, the pressure generated by the fan that blows air into the chimney is sufficient to push the organic waste gases into the RTO. I hope you can verify this. These are just my humble opinions for your reference
Both positive and negative pressure combustion work fine.
The purpose of the exhaust fan is mainly to draw exhaust gases into the RTO. Our RTO unit has an air flow rate of around 30,000, and it is equipped with one exhaust fan. Whether an exhaust fan is needed depends mainly on your process requirements
Yes, we need 10,000 cubic meters; fans have been installed in front of the RTO

It depends on the wind pressure of your exhaust gas; the pressure drop in an RTO is generally between 3000 pa and 4000 pa. If the wind pressure is sufficient, a fan may not be necessary
