I would like to ask everyone: In process piping and instrumentation diagrams, 1. is it necessary to show the seal cooling systems for equipment such as high-temperature reactors, high-temperature pumps, and hot water pumps (such as water tanks and pumps)? 2. Is it necessary to assign a device tag separately? 3. Does it also need to be shown in the equipment layout diagram? 4. Is the necessity of expressing it high? Thank you all!
It is considered unnecessary; the cooling and flushing process for mechanical seals is handled by relevant specialized departments and does not fall under the scope of process engineering
