I have considered the following 3 methods for grounding outdoor pipe corridors. I would appreciate it if experts could advise me on which one is suitable; any different opinions are also welcome. Thank you! ①I laid 40 hot-dip galvanized flat steel strips along the entire length of the outdoor pipe gallery foundation, using these strips to connect the rebar in the foundation together to form a single unit, which was then securely connected to the plant’s overall grounding system. ②Every 20-30 meters, I pull a 40-mm flat iron from the foundation on one side of the pipe gallery to establish a reliable connection with the plant’s main grounding system. ③I install an equipotential terminal box at the bottom of the columns on one side of the pipe gallery every 20-30 meters; these terminal boxes are then connected to the grounding system, and the pipes, pipe gallery, and outdoor cable trays are all connected to these equipotential terminal boxes as well.
It’s not for doing this; I understand it should follow the 2 options you mentioned
The current practice is to use the second option more often; the other two options are also feasible, so the final choice depends on cost-effectiveness!
It should be possible with either, depending on your actual situation
Do you know the relevant regulations? Can’t I find any specifications describing the grounding of outdoor pipe corridors? Someone knowledgeable, please explain. Thank you
