Regarding the digital I/O soft points of DeltaV

I’m new to DeltaV, and a major maintenance campaign is upcoming. I need to create a logic circuit that uses a digital signal from the DCS to send it to the SIS as a soft point for communication, in order to implement selection logic. Similar to the SWITCH in CS3000, I’m not sure if there’s something like that in DeltaV; I searched for a long time but couldn’t find it.
In the Special Items Palette, there are Input Parameter and Output Parameter, similar to the Yokogawa switches you mentioned. After configuring the communication, use the external reference in the parameter attribute to reference the communication data.
