Dear sea friends, I have a very basic question... Our cooling tower is designed to handle a flow rate of 9000 m3/h, but the actual maximum flow rate of the circulating water is 6400 m3/h. So here’s the question: when submitting a bid for chemicals to be used in the circulating water system, we can fill in the amount of water in circulation; that part is easy to determine. But should we enter 9000 or 6400 as the flow rate? Thank you~!

For your tender for purchasing medications, it specifies either the unit price or the total quantity over a certain period. Isn’t the quantity for the tendering and procurement of medications specified in the design requirements?
The circulating water volume is definitely set to 6,400 cubic meters based on the actual value. Although the cooling tower is designed for 9,000 cubic meters, that is the theoretical maximum value and it’s unlikely to be achieved; therefore, the actual value is generally used as the reference.
