A brief introduction to rural sewage treatment equipment: In villages where conditions permit, sewage treatment stations should be built either on a community level or at the village level, and they must comply with the following regulations: 1. Sewage treatment plants can employ biochemical treatment technologies such as buried sewage treatment equipment, constructed wetlands, biological filters, or stabilization ponds; other treatment technologies with existing engineering examples or proven experience can also be used depending on local conditions. Wastewater treatment equipment should be located downstream of the water bodies in villages and towns, at lower elevations, to facilitate the flow of wastewater into the treatment station, prevent contamination of the water supply for these areas, and allow for the discharge of treated water downstream. It is kept at a certain distance from the residential areas in the villages and towns to reduce pollution to those areas. If wastewater is to be used for farmland irrigation and sludge for fertilizing fields, its location should be near the irrigation areas to facilitate transportation. The effluent from wastewater treatment plants shall comply with the relevant provisions of the current **standard, namely the \"Emission Standards for Pollutants from Urban Wastewater Treatment Plants\" (GB18918-2002). When the effluent from wastewater treatment plants is used for farmland irrigation, it must comply with the relevant provisions of the current **standard \"Quality Standards for Water Used in Farmland Irrigation\" (GB5084-2005)**. II. There are many methods for wastewater treatment and utilization, and the following factors should be considered when selecting a solution: 1. The requirements regarding the degree of wastewater treatment imposed by environmental protection. 2. The volume and quality of wastewater. 3. Investment capability. Wastewater treatment technology involves using various methods to separate the pollutants contained in wastewater or to convert those pollutants into harmless substances, thereby purifying the wastewater. In today’s society, there is an increasing focus on both the quality and quantity of water used for drinking. Sewage generated in daily life also needs to be purified; this not only helps reduce pollution in our living environment but also allows for the reuse of that water, thereby providing an effective solution to China’s water problems.
