Thread Content
Someone earlier asked whether it would be possible to add a time limit to the settings regarding which posts are visible, or to allow us to change their visibility on our own, so that people can see others’ replies to older posts. Mainly, if we make the changes proactively, the volume might be larger. Therefore, we suggest adding an option to make the replies visible only to the author, along with a time limit such as 30 days or permanently. In this way, in the technical section, some very old but classic posts also make it easier for everyone to learn*.
Some discussion threads are actually set to be visible only to the author. . . Then there’s no way to discuss it
There are several types of daily posts: for example, sharing a case study, a potential risk, or an image for everyone to analyze and comment on; replies are provided in advance, which is basically a **baseline**, and then scores are assigned based on everyone’s level of participation. For topics like these, I would add the setting to make replies visible only to the author. There are some analyses provided in many posts that I hadn’t thought of, and there are also many good comments and suggestions. Such posts will disappear over time. If a time limit is added, the hidden settings will become invalid after at least a certain period of time, so that newcomers can see them while browsing and searching. If you try to modify it proactively, the amount of work involved is significant, and you might also forget.
