Whether a person lives a happy life depends first on whether they can fall asleep, and second on whether they want to wake up. The ability to fall asleep indicates peace of mind, as one has no regrets; the desire to wake up shows that one’s heart is pure. This is what life is all about – nothing more than the happiness embodied in these six words. It’s a pity that many people only come to understand things in later life. The cruelty of time is that it forces you to wait until the truth emerges, yet gives you no compensation. No one has ever kept accounts for themselves. In fact, apart from what is essential, in life most things are the consequences of greedy desires, leaving one exhausted. I can’t sleep; it’s those remnants causing the problem ; I don’t want to wake up; it’s the remnants that scared me. The troubles and sufferings in life stem from the proliferation of remnants. A human hand always wants to hold something. Earthworms can burrow deep underground because they lack all limbs; being bare and with fewer obstacles to consider, they are able to dig deeper. Complicated desires can also bring suffering to people. Many times, we turn what was once a fulfilling life into one that is dull, vulgar, and repetitive. The biggest characteristic of a repetitive and dull life is that it merely passes by in time, leaving no trace in the heart. The emptiness and boredom of life arise when one repeats themselves so much that they no longer feel they exist. How many people only fully come to their senses **after** life has passed. Only when the hustle and bustle cease and greed fades away can one know what one truly wants. In other words, no one is as good at teaching themselves as they are at teaching themselves. Life is at its most beautiful when the hustle and bustle have faded away. Because it is only at this time that one realizes the importance of living the life one wants!
I can fall asleep, but it’s hard to wake up naturally!
Not wanting to remember it maybe means it’s not the life one wants to live~~
Indeed, it’s a very philosophical article: life is at its most beautiful when all the splendor has faded away. Because it is only at this time that one realizes the importance of living the life one wants! Only then do you realize the meaning of living!
