Dear experts, how do you handle the exhaust gases from your product refining equipment? Is it all adsorbed using activated carbon? ?
For the adsorber before the ammonia compressor, alumina ceramic balls were used initially, while iron oxide was used later on. Activated carbon was used in the middle (it seems to be a modified metal-impregnated type), and zinc oxide was added at the outlet of the ammonia compressor (which is also good). Overall, it seems that activated carbon is better. We haven’t had sidetracks since 2002.

May I ask if there are manufacturers that specialize in activated carbon for ammonia purification, or is it sufficient to just provide the parameters of ordinary activated carbon?
Ordinary coal-based columnar activated carbon will suffice; if needed, I can provide you with some samples.
