Dear sea friends, I am currently learning about gas boilers, and I’ve noticed that some companies claim their thermal efficiency can exceed 100%, with figures of 100.3% indicated on their samples. . . Although some explanations relate to the lower calorific value, this approach doesn’t conform to the law of conservation of energy either. . . Could you please explain it this way?
Actually, the boiler factory is changing its concept. The efficiency of the condenser is also taken into account for the boiler, but it is not fully utilized by the boiler system; where does the additional energy come from? Does the electricity used for fans and pumps count as well? Another concept is the difference between the water temperature used in boiler thermal calculations and the actual water temperature at the time of feedwater supply
Dude, can you explain it in more detail? I told some people that the boiler’s efficiency is 96%, and the difference is huge.
Well... to put it simply, the efficiency of the boiler itself is 90%, the efficiency of the air preheater is 6%, and the efficiency of the condenser is 7% – which adds up to 103%

He made the comparison using the lower heating value, which is determined without accounting for the heat contained in the water vapor in the flue gases; therefore, after some condensation occurs, the value is definitely above 100%
No way, there’s no smoke exhaust; the smoke exhaust temperature is 40 degrees – how is that possible!
