Experts: The amine solution regeneration system in our hydrocracking unit is operating normally; the concentration of the lean amine solution and the bubbling/defoaming processes are all within normal ranges. However, the desulfurization efficiency for sulfur-containing dry gas is not satisfactory. The analyzed thermal steady-state salt content is around 0.5%. What level of thermal steady-state salt content is considered normal for a hydrogenation unit?
Below 1% should be considered quite good.
