Why is it necessary to close the smoke extractor inlet butterfly valve and the cut-off valve completely before starting the main fan?
Minimum power startup: fans and pumps are different; for pumps, the minimum startup power is achieved when the outlet valve is closed, while for fans, it is achieved when the inlet valve is closed
The flue gas extractor can be started only after the required conditions are met. Initially, the fan operates using motor power, while the flue gas extractor is in an off state to prevent fluctuations in the reaction system, such as leaks; catalyst entering the flue gas extractor could damage the impeller.
The main fan unit is driven by a smoke engine and an electric motor. To start the smoke engine, it is necessary to warm up the pipes and the engine itself, gradually increasing the temperature and speed, with an increase of no more than 100°C per hour.
