Hello everyone. Our company currently has an oil and gas recovery unit used for loading gasoline at petrochemical plants. This unit is equipped with a vacuum pump of a certain Korean brand. Recently, we have frequently noticed that the lubricating grease in the bearings on the non-driving side becomes emulsified, and over time the grease disappears altogether. Now our company wants to add a spare pump (preferably one of domestic manufacture, as it’s more convenient to get after-sales support and spare parts for imported pumps). Have you encountered a similar situation? How did you resolve it, or could you help analyze the reasons? Lip seals are used on the non-driving side, and the bearings are lubricated with grease. I also have colleagues who are asking for recommendations on some device manufacturers with good performance; thank you so much! The Mahah and Cowell structures are basically the same, featuring a single-sided mechanical seal with grease lubrication at the air intake side.
I can recommend a double-seal pump with internal cooling, which performs much better
