The desolation of the night brings with it a chill, as cold rain patters against the windows of a lonely heart. Alone in the night, one listens to the sound of the rain and the thunder; these sounds are extremely clear. The memories that were gradually forgotten amidst chaos reappear on the shattered glass, faintly visible, creating a sense of mystery. With dark, bright eyes, one looks through the fine raindrops at the boats that drift at the ferry crossing in this mortal world, at the petals that float and fall in the rain. Looking up at the sky, tears flow, wetting the heart, causing it to overflow. It was raining softly, with thunder still rumbling in the distance. The heart remained quiet and solemn; there are some people whose excellence is hard to pinpoint, yet no one can replace them ; Some pains have truly faded away over time, only to be brought up again inadvertently by someone else ; Some stories are said to be over before they have even begun ; There are some endings that one doesn’t want to pay too much attention to, yet the heart still aches. A person stops to listen, on a lonely rainy night, savoring the solitude; accustomed to living alone, they learn to hide their sorrow behind strength and pretend to laugh heartily. Every time I went to class, I had to force a smile and hold back my emotions in front of my classmates; I had no idea how much loneliness and sorrow lay hidden behind that smile – only I could understand it. One person has to endure a rainy night alone; the wicked spring rain falls steadily, while the thunder roars loudly, striking the earth and washing over those who pass by in the streets and alleys. The rain curtain gradually thinned, and those rows of streetlights as bright as in daylight still stood there, emitting a dull yellow glow, resembling sculptures standing alone and gazing toward the other shore, waiting for the ferryman. A person walks alone on a rainy night; the heavens pour down tears, carrying with them that indescribable pain. These tears strike the earth, creating a clear yet mournful rhythm, yet lacking that unique elegance, thus falling into a state of poverty in terms of poetic expression……
