What is the installation direction? Should the moving ring be closer to the motor, or should the stationary ring be closer to the motor? What happens if it’s installed backwards? Can a vertical reactor seal be used on a horizontal one? ---Under low pressure and low speed conditions? Using it for the first time; I would appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance

Generally, the static ring is installed on the motor side; the reaction flux seal can be placed on the horizontal setup, although low speed is ideal
The static ring is not located in the direction of the motor: for pipeline pumps, the static ring is on the pump cover in the direction of the motor, while for reaction vessels, it is on the upper seal of the reactor in the opposite direction to the motor. The static ring is the mechanical sealing component that does not rotate along with the rotor. There is no issue regarding whether vertical or horizontal reactors can use the same mechanical seal; check the factory documentation, etc. As long as the mechanical seal models are identical, it can be used.
