Please share information on the technical upgrades made to catalytic reforming units and the results achieved. Let’s learn from each other; I’ll start first. A hydrogen purification unit was installed in the reforming cycle hydrogen system, which increased the purity of the hydrogen from around 80% to over 90%.
Catalytic reforming always comes with a set of PSA hydrogen purification equipment; the hydrogen produced through reforming has a relatively high purity
May I ask whether the original poster is referring to a 90% purity for the pressurized hydrogen used in installation, or to hydrogen that has been purified directly through recycling so that its purity when it enters the reaction system reaches 90%? ? ?
Is a hydrogen purification unit required for the reforming cycle hydrogen? Is it a vortex separator or something else?
What methods or processes do you use for purification?
