Responsibilities: Testing certain products within the Aspen engineering suite, including Aspen Plus, Aspen Properties, HYSYS, EDR, Aspen Plus Dynamics, EE, AEA, FlareNet, OTS, RefSys, PSV, SULSIM, and License. Requirements: A solid foundation in chemical engineering is required; those with experience in product usage are given priority. Good at English. Undergraduate/Graduate. Five years in the chemical industry – is it possible to work without using any chemical industry software?
This doesn’t give you any advantage either; the chances are low. It would be better to know one or two of these software programs.
I have been working in liquefied natural gas process design for 6 years; I spent 3 years studying using Aspen. I also use HYSYS, Dynamics, and FlareNet in my work. The versions 8.8 and 8.6 never seemed as user-friendly as version 7.2 to me. What are the salary conditions like?

I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree from a 985 university; I’m a recent graduate in chemical engineering. I’m familiar with Aspen Plus, having used it for over three years, and I’ve also identified some bugs in version 8.8. I am proficient in programming using Simulation Workbook and Aspen Plus, as well as in working with properties, HYSYS, dynamics, and adsorption processes. My university participated in Aspen’s campus program, and I was responsible for everything from placing orders and handling payments to installation and debugging, including all the corresponding emails. Yet, after submitting my resume on a certain job board, I didn’t even get a phone call. Sorry for complaining – please don’t take it personally. . Now I can only say goodbye to AspenTech
