Dear experts, we are planning to install a new heat transfer oil boiler. What are the disadvantages of sharing one header tank with two heat transfer oil boilers? I’m waiting online; I hope experts can give me some advice
Are the two boilers connected in parallel, or used separately? Use them in parallel; be sure the high-level tank can accommodate system expansion. When the two boilers are used separately, the level in the high-level tank fluctuates more significantly, and the absorption of air leads to the oxidation of the heat transfer oil. It is common to use two furnaces in parallel and share a common head tank.
