I would like to ask my colleagues at the design institute: what are the main differences in the content covered by the basic process package and the detailed process package? Since the company has developed a new system, it hired a design firm to carry out the process design, but the previous contract covered only the basic process package. Now it is necessary to develop this system, so I want to know how much work remains from the basic process package to the detailed process package. Thank you
The basic design has not yet reached the stage of construction drawings; the subsequent detailed design will involve many refinements, adjustments, and improvements based on the basic design.
