A butt weld joint is used, as it represents the best type of joint – it provides the best stress distribution and ensures the highest quality of welding. Why use anything other than it?
It must be a butt weld, and there are also requirements regarding the length of the straight edges of the end cap; for details, refer to the standards for pressure vessel flanges.
The high-neck flange of the container is connected to the head, with only butt welding and no other types of connections.

According to GB150, there are recommended welding methods, but butt welding is required, and it must be double-sided welding.
