I have a device equipped with several burners, as well as a gas main pipe. Before the pressure regulator on this main pipe, the pressure is 4 bar (over a length of about 400 mm), which meets the requirements for pressure pipelines; behind the pressure regulator, the pressure is 10 KPa (over a length of about 5000 mm). I would like to ask if this pipeline of mine is a pressure pipeline?
I don’t think so. Pressure pipelines refer to tubular devices that use a certain pressure to transport gases or liquids. They are defined as pipelines with a maximum operating pressure of 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) or more, carrying gases, liquefied gases, steam, or liquids that are flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, and have a maximum operating temperature equal to or higher than their standard boiling point, and with a nominal diameter of 50 mm or more. Except for pipes with a nominal diameter of less than 150 mm and a maximum operating pressure of less than 1.6 MPa (gauge pressure), as well as the pipes that form part of the equipment used for transporting non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive gases. Among them, the safety supervision and management of oil and gas pipelines shall also be carried out in accordance with laws and regulations such as the Work Safety Law and the Oil and Gas Pipeline Protection Law.
This post was last edited by xlxuiin on 2016-5-27 09:46. The exclusions specified in TSG D0001-2009 and GBT20801.1-2006 both include \"power pipelines\" as well as \"pipelines within fixed equipment and their external connections\". So, it shouldn’t belong.
According to the new interpretation of pressure pipelines, as explained for the 2nd floor, the equipment itself should not be included.
