I couldn’t find this question in the book. The answers provided for similar questions found online are B, but based on my own judgment, it should be A. What do you all think? What is the correct answer to this question? 69. The design organization for engineering projects is generally referred to as the project (design) team. Which of the following is not a main member of the project team? A. Design manager, planning engineer, quality engineer, project manager B. Project manager, chief engineer, specialized designers, design manager C. Process manager, heads of specialized departments, procurement manager, project manager D. I also think that A is correct; they are members of the project team. The chief engineer for B seems to be from the company itself, and not part of the project team

If it’s a single-choice question, choose D; if it’s a multiple-choice question, select C. It’s not easy to determine the role of department head; each project also requires a technical leader, and this role can be filled by the department head. So it’s fine not to choose C. But in large companies, many projects may be underway at the same time, and in such cases, the head of a specialized department may not hold a role within any of those projects.
