The multi-story residential building he lives in has 7 floors in total, but the water pressure is very low above the 5th floor, which is a major hassle for daily use. Living on the 7th floor, his situation is even worse; the lack of water flow severely affects his daily life. Under normal circumstances, the water pressure is already low, and during peak usage times, there is no water at all. Residents are forced to collect water using buckets or basins at night or when there are fewer people around during the day. They use water from these containers for tasks such as washing dishes, mopping floors, and personal hygiene, as the shower and kitchen faucets are practically useless. Residential complexes are classified into low-rise, high-rise, and super-high-rise categories based on the height of their buildings. Buildings with 10 floors or fewer are considered low-rise, those with 10 to 20 floors are high-rise, and those with more than 20 floors are super-high-rise. Due to insufficient pressure in the municipal water supply network, the water pressure typically reaches only up to the 5th or 6th floor; so what do residents living on higher floors do to get access to water? Experts recommend that, in case the community experiences the aforementioned water supply issues, a non-negative pressure water supply system must be installed. This system is primarily composed of a flow stabilizing tank, a non-negative pressure tank, a vacuum suppressor, an electrical control cabinet, water pumps, pipes, and a base.
