Today, in the Q&A section on *reformation technology, one of the reasons listed for the vacuum condition in the pre-hydrogenation feed pump was a low liquid level in the pre-distillation tower. Could any teacher please analyze this? Thank you

Friend, I’m not quite familiar with the situation regarding your pre-distillation tower – does it come before or after pre-hydrogenation? Generally, the feedstock for pre-hydrogenation goes straight into the pre-hydrogenation reactor after heat exchange; the distillation towers are all used after pre-hydrogenation, so it shouldn’t affect the feedstock for pre-hydrogenation. Pre-hydrogenation feed generally has a feed buffer tank, and the liquid level in that tank affects things. What kind of technique is that in your place?
We use pre-hydrogenation, stripping, and distillation; does the book mean the pre-distillation tower mentioned earlier (that is, before pre-hydrogenation)?

No way, our process involves deoxygenation first and then feeding in material. Moreover, there’s a buffer tank for the feed material – how could low liquid level cause evacuation? ? I personally think it’s probably due to insufficient back pressure
