Fan surging phenomenon

During the startup of a boiling furnace, after coal powder is added, the bottom fan may experience surging; at the same time, the sand inside the furnace may be drawn back into the enclosure. What causes this phenomenon?
Centrifugal fans are used in fluidized bed boilers; such boilers are generally equipped with Roots fans, and this phenomenon has not occurred； Due to frequent start-up and shutdown, the sand inside the furnace can also leak into the lower sealing box through the holes in the air cap; it must be cleaned manually during maintenance.
It is caused by an imbalance in the air volume of the fans on both sides, mainly due to too low air volume in front of the furnace (insufficient pressure head).
During operation, we increase the volume of air being processed, but this issue occurs as soon as coal powder is added.
