I bought a house on the top floor. I checked the pros and cons online, and I was wondering: are there any people who live on the top floor and have access to the sea? 22nd floor!
If so, please let fellow travelers know what aspects should be taken into consideration during renovation! Thank you!
I have never lived on the top floor; due to my age, I live on the first floor. Living on the top floor might involve the problem of leaks, but there is no risk of clogged sewers like on the first floor.
The top floor offers a great view and plenty of sunlight, but it can be very hot in summer; moreover, if it’s not built by a reliable developer, there’s a high risk of leaks.
6th floor, the top floor; there’s a attic where one can store things – it could be modified. I’ve only been there for a few days as I’m constantly on the go
The top floor has many disadvantages; for example, the water pressure is low and water cannot reach it, and if the quality of the building is poor, leaks are likely to occur. The elevator may also stop working, preventing one from reaching the upper floors. On the other hand, it does have advantages: there is a great view, and if there is a terrace, one can create their own garden.
Leaks, power outages while climbing stairs, heat. That’s what I can foresee.
