The body is equipped with two feed ports and two discharge ports (an automatic flushing device can also be installed). Working principle: The high-speed rotation of the drum and mixer ensures thorough mixing of the two liquid substances. The separation efficiency between the different liquids can be adjusted by changing the rotation speed and the diameter of the heavy-phase baffle. Working principle of the CWL-250 series centrifugal extractors: (1) Mixing and mass transfer process The light and heavy phase solutions enter, in certain proportions, into the annular mixing zone formed between the drum and the housing through two feed ports. Thanks to the rotation of the drum, the turbine discs and impellers facilitate rapid mixing and dispersion of the two phases, enabling thorough mass transfer between them. Complete the mixed mass transfer process. (5) Two-phase separation process: The mixture enters the drum under the action of the vortex disc. Within the compartments formed by the partition plates, the mixture rotates rapidly in sync with the drum. Under the effect of centrifugal force, the heavier phase gradually moves away from the center of the drum and toward its walls as it flows upward ; The less dense light-phase liquid gradually moves away from the drum wall toward the center, and the clarified two-phase liquid eventually enters the collection chambers through their respective weirs, from where it is led out of the machine via pipes, thus completing the two-phase separation process.
