There is a manufacturer that produces waste heat boilers; if I install an external combustion chamber to burn natural gas in them, compared to gas boilers, by how much would the efficiency be lower with this method of combustion?
That will require you to conduct further calculations – heat loss, heat utilization, and the amount of fuel needed, all of these need to be calculated
