Are heat tracing pipes required for sulfuric acid with smoke and 98% acid pipelines (Suzhou area)?
Faced with the same problem, I think it’s still necessary to maintain insulation where possible; if that doesn’t work, just use steam directly for blowing. (It depends on your niacin concentration; the piping is fine, but the key is the location of the valves.)
Use electric heating for warmth, and also provide insulation, otherwise it will freeze in winter
The crystallization temperature of 98% concentrated sulfuric acid is -0.7°C, while that of 20% fuming sulfuric acid is 2.5°C. Check the lowest temperature in Suzhou and consider whether heat tracing is necessary based on the length of the pipeline.
The location in Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou ensures good heat retention
