Our plant has a naphtha desulfurization tower with a design pressure of 0.3 MPa. The reflux tank for the liquid is controlled by pressure relief and nitrogen filling valves, with the pressure maintained at 0.05 MPa under normal conditions. A regular centrifugal pump is used to transfer the liquid from the bottom of the tower. I’m wondering whether it would be feasible to increase the tower’s pressure to 0.2 MPa, allowing the oil to be discharged under its own pressure
