For the 11+52 mechanical seal, with methanol as the medium being transported, what causes the increase in liquid level and pressure in the Plan52 tank? Seal leakage? Reason?
The 11th mechanical seal is leaking; it can still keep working if there’s no external leakage.
There is a leak on the medium side; methanol enters the storage tank under the pressure of the pump, causing the liquid level and pressure in the tank to rise. Stop for maintenance.
It’s obvious that the mechanical seal is leaking. Using plan11+52, the Plan52 tank should be at atmospheric pressure; not only will the liquid level rise, but the liquid will also overflow.
Is white oil filled in the tank of PLAN52? ?
The side seal on P11 is leaking; the machine has been shut down for maintenance
It must be a seal leak on the medium side; this is exactly why dual sealing is used – it prevents leakage directly into the atmosphere, and any issues can be detected through early warnings allowing for timely repairs
Situation analysis: 1. If there is a rapid rise, it is recommended to stop the machine immediately for inspection. 2. It rises gradually over time; it is recommended to consider replacement based on production needs. 3. Please check the temperature of the mechanical seal and the pump head. 4. Please check the flushing aperture.
The internal seal of the test unit leaked, causing the medium to leak into the liquid storage tank and resulting in a rise in pressure.
By sealing the oil tank level and pressure with a secondary seal, it is possible to detect leaks in the primary seal; if no shutdown is triggered, the system can continue to operate.
