To prevent blockages in the drainage pipes of the carbon scrubber, the drainage rate is kept at around 50%. However, a problem arises: due to the large volume of water discharged from the carbon scrubber, the amount of water discharged through the high-flash system also increases, resulting in overpressure in the low-pressure flasher. This in turn causes constant overpressure in the deaerator, with a large amount of hot water escaping. Without reducing the drainage rate of the carbon scrubber, I would like to ask if there are any good solutions available

The high flash pressure should be kept as low as possible; lower inlet water temperature means lower pressure. The low flash pressure, on the other hand, should be kept as high as possible, as this results in less vapor at the low flash point. In the final cooler, the gas phase circuit must be shut off, and sufficient cooling water must be available. The water temperature in the deoxygenation unit used for removing water from the high flash separation tank should also be lowered. The amount and temperature of water used in the low-pressure shift process, as well as the drainage from the pipelines leading from the deoxygenation unit to the sedimentation tank, can be controlled. By managing these factors properly, overpressure can be avoided.
Apart from checking the drainage issue, we also need to examine the deaerator

System load, circulation volume issues, heat balance – since it cannot be carried away by the syngas, it must definitely be released during high flash and true flash! To address the issue of increased effluent volume, using deoxygenator cooled make-up brine is not economical either. What do you mean by overpressure? What is the pressure indicator value? Is the pressure too high? It’s possible to increase the venting rate to reduce the pressure
