Dear experts: Regarding the residence time of chemicals in circulating water systems, what is the typical duration for organic phosphonate chemicals to remain in such systems at present? To what extent should the decomposition of the agent be controlled? What range is normal phosphorus generally kept within? Thank you!
The residence time is generally around 40 hours, with orthophosphorus kept at 1 ppm
The total phosphorus level should not be too high, as this can easily lead to phosphate scaling. I’m not sure whether scaling is a serious issue on the SeaFriend side, and whether all the pressure parameters are within normal ranges. If the scaling removal effect is not satisfactory, high-voltage electrostatic water treatment technology could be considered~~
The person upstairs is wasting too much water and chemicals for the system; it’s likely that the concentration ratio isn’t very high either. It is generally assumed that the residence time of the agent does not exceed 50 hours.
