May the weld of a bare pipe be placed directly on the beam? If not, are there any regulations regarding this?
This probably won’t work; you should at least use a small steel channel as a support underneath
No, that won’t do – if there’s a leak in the weld, it will make maintenance difficult.
It is not allowed to place welds at the support locations, as this hinders the proper operation and maintenance of the pipes
This provision is included in the pipeline support specifications
